In the US for example, a public school will be able to charge a lot lower than their private equivalent, simply because the state that the school is located in will often provide them with government backed subsidies.

What Qualifications do I need to become a Physical Therapist in the US?

Many people want a job as a physical therapist, as it is not only a career which pays handsomely, but it is also one in which you get to help people. Due to this high demand of wanting to become a physical therapist. in order to get physical therapy training you will need to try and achieve the following before you consider apply for training to become a physical therapist:

  • A 3.3 GPA from the college you are in
  • Some require 150 hours of clinical experience
  • Letters of recommendation from science teachers or physical therapists
  • A satisfactory score on your Gradute Record Examination

All phyiscal therapists need to be properly licensed. Once you have completed your physical therapist training you will need to be registered with the National Physical Therapist Examination board, and have passed their examination. In the US, some states may require other criteria be met before they issue you with a physical therapist license.
